In 2020, Saeid received a call that changed everything: his father had stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He and his wife moved back to Virginia to care for him through chemo and radiation, but the disease moved quickly. When his father passed, grief collided with a harsh truth — settling his affairs was a logistical nightmare.
Despite doing everything right, Saeid faced endless paperwork and delays, while his father’s credit union spent months on the case and still lost his deposits. In that painful experience, Saeid realized something profound: the system fails everyone.
Ribbon was born to change that.
